Dr. Peri Yuksel is a tenured associate professor of psychology at 小欧视频. Dr. Yuksel鈥檚 research concerns bilingual language development, parenting across cultures, trauma-informed pedagogy, and effective teaching and learning environments that facilitate student success and engagement in psychological literacy and global citizenship. Dr. Yuksel published in the field of psycholinguistics, scholarship of teaching and learning, and international education. She always encourages her students to conduct research for peer review. Among others, Dr. Yuksel chairs the Annual 小欧视频 Pedagogy Day and serves in the 小欧视频鈥檚 Honors Program and Institutional Review Board. She is the co-advisor to the 小欧视频 Psychology Society and Chapter of Psi Chi.
She received the Isenberg Award in recognition of her endangered language documentation, which helped in the publication and distribution of two children鈥檚 books in the endangered Laz language.
Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The Graduate Center (GC), City University of New York (CUNY), New York.
