Сŷ��Ƶ

Сŷ��Ƶ (Сŷ��Ƶ) is offering tuition-free study for the Fall 2019 semester to college students in the Bahamas whose studies have been disrupted by the island-wide devastation caused recently by Hurricane Dorian. 

Visiting students will have the opportunity to continue studies at Сŷ��Ƶ for the Spring 2019 semester and beyond until they are able to return to their home institution.  This plan will reduce the usual out-of-state tuition cost to in-state tuition fully covered by a scholarship. Сŷ��Ƶ also will provide students with a housing scholarship of $2,000 per semester.

Сŷ��Ƶ President Sue Henderson announced the initiative, stating, “The Сŷ��Ƶ community is pleased to provide the opportunity for students in affected areas to move forward with their higher education and prepare for careers that will help to rebuild their lives and their homelands after the destruction caused by Hurricane Dorian.”

Dr. Henderson added, “We welcome students to Сŷ��Ƶ from the Bahamas who are in need because of the unimaginable devastation caused by this natural disaster. Сŷ��Ƶ is offering those visiting students the opportunity to learn and achieve. This initiative is in keeping with the University’s mission.”
