The СŷÊÓƵ School of Business has recently partnered with the , and hosted an orientation March 1 for the students and their mentors.
Companies represented by mentors at the event included Goldman Sachs, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, AIG Funds, Royal Bank of Canada, St. Peter’s University, and SunAmerica Asset Management.
At the Development School for Youth (DSY), young people aged 16 to 21 experience the business world through a series of rigorous, high-level workshops and training sessions where they learn to perform as professionals.
Business leaders from top companies conduct workshops and provide training in leadership and business, including resume-writing, networking, public speaking, and dressing in a professional manner. Program graduates are then placed in six-week, paid summer internships, where they continue to develop their leadership and professional skills.
The DSY is located in Jersey City, Newark, New York, Chicago, the San Francisco Bay area, and Dallas.
